
Jerry Jurkiewicz - Chief Executive Officer
Jerry joined the organization in April of 2007, having served as Partner in the San Francisco-based Private Equity firm Industrial Growth Partners (IGP). IGP a firm specializing in middle market niche manufacturing companies.
Prior to IGP, Jerry served as the General Manager of the $425 Million high-tech Optoelectronics Division of PerkinElmer based in Fremont, California. In his 6+ years at PerkinElmer, Jerry's responsibilities included Global roles in Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, Strategic Procurement, Quality, IT, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Prior to PerkinElmer, Jerry spent 6 years at AlliedSignal both in Division Finance and in various Operations roles in Turbocharging Systems and the Consumer Products Group. His Operations roles ranged from Global Lean and Six Sigma to Plant Management and multi-site Operations responsibility.
Jerry began his career first at Unisys in Finance followed by 6 years at the Ford Motor Company in the areas of Production Supervision, Quality and Engineering. Jerry earned both a Bachelor of Engineering and a MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
Ron Kruczynski - Chief Financial Officer
Ron joined the organization in May 2007 and brings with him a broad background in finance from the manufacturing, financial services and retail sectors.
Previously, Ron served at Sears Holdings Corporation, a $54B retail and related services company, for 6 years in a variety of executive financial positions. Most recently, he was Vice President - Merchandise Finance where he managed all financial aspects of the Sears and Kmart merchandising groups. Prior to that, he worked as a Vice President - Home Services Finance, Director - Corporate FP&A and Director - Repair Services. While at Sears, Ron served on the Board of Directors for A&E Factory Services, a Whirlpool Corp joint venture and was a corporate officer for Sears Home Improvement Inc.
Prior to Sears, Ron worked for General Electric, where he had roles in Accounting, Risk Management and Six Sigma Process Improvement. Prior to General Electric, Ron worked in various accounting positions with Nalco Chemical Co.
Ron's education includes an MBA from DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Augustana College. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Dave Goltz - Vice President OF Administration, General Counsel & Secretary
David N. Goltz (Dave) is the Vice President of Administration, General Counsel and Secretary for Highway Technologies, Inc., joining the company in September 2007. Among other things, Dave is responsible for HT's Legal, Human Resources, Risk Management and Safety Departments.
Prior to joining HT, Dave was Associate General Counsel for Champion Enterprises, Inc. ("Champion") from 1999 to 2007. Champion is a $1.4 Billion Michigan corporation and parent company of various subsidiaries involved in the manufactured and modular housing industry. At Champion, Dave was responsible for managing all of the litigation for Champion and its subsidiaries throughout the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. He also handled legal marketing, advertising and employment issues for the company.
Beginning in 1988, Dave practiced commercial and products liability law with Dykema Gossett, and then continued that litigation practice as a partner with Feeney Kellett Wienner & Bush in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
After graduating from the University of Michigan with distinction in 1985, Dave attended law school at Wayne State University in Detroit. Dave was a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Richard D. Kuhn of the Oakland County Circuit Court from 1986 until he was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1988. Dave is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and various bar associations and organizations. Dave is an alumnus of the Evans Scholars Foundation, where he is a Director with the Western Golf Association helping golf caddies to earn college scholarships.
Rod Pekurney - Vice President, Gulf and West Regions
Rod joined Highway Technologies in 2005 as a branch manager , was promoted to District Manager in 2006, and now serves as Vice President of the Gulf Region. He brings over sixteen years of experience in the heavy highway construction industry as an estimator, project manager, operations manager, and regional manager to the company. Rod holds a MBA from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Southwest Texas State. In addition to his education and career achievements, Rod is an active member of the Association of General Contractors of Texas, a Texas Department of Transportation, Association of General Contractors Traffic Safety & Pavement Marking committee member, and is a member of the American Traffic Safety Services Association.
